1. Service Description & Account Eligibility

appx.work provides a minimalist, unified productivity environment featuring weekly visual task planning, rich-text note-taking with tagging, Pomodoro focus timers, calendar integration, ambient focus soundscapes, and multi-device cloud synchronization.

• Account Creation: You may use the Service as a guest in offline local mode or register via passwordless email One-Time Passwords (OTP) or Google OAuth.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country) to register an account and use the Service.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. User Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

You retain 100% full ownership of all content you create, upload, or store on appx.work (including task titles, notes, checklists, attachments, tags, and settings).

• License to Us: You grant appx.work a strictly limited, non-exclusive license solely to host, transmit, encrypt, backup, and display your content to you across your authorized devices.
• No Selling or Advertising: We never sell, monetize, inspect, or license your private notes or tasks to third parties or advertising brokers.
• App Intellectual Property: All software, interface designs, logos, icons, graphics, soundscapes, and source code of appx.work are the intellectual property of appx.work and protected by international copyright laws.

3. Third-Party Services & Integrations

appx.work offers optional third-party integrations (such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook).

• Read-Only Access: Calendar integrations request read-only access to display your upcoming schedule and meetings inside your visual planner.
• Token Revocation: You can disconnect and revoke third-party calendar connections at any time in your Settings.
• Third-Party Terms: Use of external services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Billing

appx.work offers core free features as well as optional lifetime or recurring paid plans for advanced power-user capabilities.

• Merchant of Record: Payments and billing are processed securely through our Merchant of Record (Paddle.com), which handles tax compliance, currency conversion, and fraud prevention.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund policy on paid purchases. Contact support to request a refund.
• Price Changes: Any future price adjustments will apply only to new purchases and will not affect existing lifetime license holders.

5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

When using appx.work, you agree not to engage in illegal activities, compromise infrastructure, or abuse Service availability.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.

7. Account Termination & Data Deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, cloud data is permanently purged.
